Welcome to Faith Lutheran,
Thank you for looking into Faith Lutheran School. If you are reading this, you are thinking about beginning (or continuing) a private school education for your child. It isn't easy to decide on a school, particularly when there is a financial commitment involved. I am familiar with Lutheran schools and my impression is that Faith shares all the best qualities Lutheran schools have to offer. Let me share with you some of the reasons that families choose Lutheran schools in general and Faith in particular.

I have witnessed three main reasons that families choose to enroll their children at Faith Lutheran: Christ-centered community, commitment to academic excellence, and family atmosphere.
Christ-centered community: Students at Faith are reminded daily of the Lord's unconditional love for them. They experience this love from their teachers and learn to share it with their fellow students. They learn that this love is founded on grace, kindness, and forgiveness. When they have concerns, they are able to join their classmates in prayer, as they take their worries to God. They come to know Jesus as their best friend and they learn to turn to Him when the world seems harsh.
Academic Excellence: Faith Lutheran School offers a challenging curriculum that follows the Common Core State Standards in reading and math. Our students become responsible young people, because they are expected to work hard and be accountable for their assignments. Our graduates are more than prepared for their new schools, and many go on to join honors programs.

Family Atmosphere: When students are absent, they are missed. All of the teachers are acquainted with the children in the school and treat them as their own. The teachers pray together for families in their struggles and in their joys.

Our Philosophy
At Faith Lutheran School we believe in educating the whole child. We strive to meet the intellectual, spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of each child.

Our History
Faith Lutheran School started as an early childhood school for 3-5 year olds in 1971. In 1973 kindergarten was added. In 1982 a new building was completed, which currently houses classes for Jr. K - 2nd grade. The school now serves around 200 students in preschool through 8th grade.
