Craig Neumiller, Principal & Music 5-8
Mr. Neumiller joined the staff of Faith in 2019. He has worked in Christian education in various roles for the past thirty-three years. The last fourteen years have been at a sister Lutheran school in the Tacoma area, where he taught high school theology courses and served in several administrative roles. Music is a passion for him, both instrumental (guitar, bass, mandolin, trumpet, and piano) and vocal (singing and directing choirs). In addition to his principal duties, he assists with the music education program here at Faith. When he is not at school, you will find him walking with his wife, playing with or reading to his two grandsons, watching or playing baseball, reading a book (usually science fiction or theology), or playing his guitar!
Christine Humble, Preschool (T/Th) AM/PM and Preschool (W/F) AM
Miss Christine has been at Faith Lutheran School since 2006. During that entire time, she has worked with the preschoolers. She loves their thirst for knowledge and their God-given inquisitiveness. She loves creating real-life lessons where God is the center of it all. She is married and has one son. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, sewing/crafting, and getting outdoors to savor God's wonderful creation.
Amy, Suelzle, Pre-kindergarten AM (M/T/Th) & Music Teacher K-4
Mrs. Suelzle has taught at Faith Lutheran School since 1996. She received her bachelor's degree in English from the University of Oregon and an elementary teaching certificate from Concordia University in Portland, OR. She also spent a semester overseas at Oak Hill College and Middlesex University in London, England, with an emphasis on religious studies and teaching science. In 2001, she completed her special education endorsement. While at Faith, she has taught pre-kindergarten through 8th grade. She and her husband have two daughters, one who attends Faith Lutheran School, and one who recently graduated from Faith. As a family, they enjoy camping and biking in the San Juans, skiing in the winter, and watching sports.
Marie Koehler, Pre-kindergarten (M/W/F AM & PM)
Mrs. Koehler earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education with an emphasis in early childhood education from Central Washington University. She enjoys learning and continues to take classes to stay up-to-date with current educational practices. Teaching four- and five-year-olds brings her a special joy as she experiences their excitement for learning, the new friendships they make, and sharing in their accomplishments with parents. She and her husband have three children, who all attended Faith Lutheran School. They enjoy family times, sports, and being active with friends from church and the community.
Tracy Christensen, Jr. Kindergarten AM (M-F) and Art Teacher K-8
Mrs. Christensen has been blessed to be a part of Faith Lutheran School since 2015. She received her B.A. from The Evergreen State College where she focused on drawing, painting, art history, scenic design and shadow puppetry. Mrs. Christensen loves to encourage children, especially as they build early reading and classroom skills, to explore books, create and experience art, ask questions and make connections to the world around them. She enjoys sharing her love of books and art, fostering a lifelong love of learning through teaching others. Married to her high school sweetheart and mother of two boys, she enjoys spending time with her family, swimming, gardening, and cooking.
Heather Kravitz, Kindergarten
Miss Kravitz has taught at Faith Lutheran School since 2010. While at Faith, she has taught full-day kindergarten. She received her bachelor's degree in science from the Portland Art Institute. She earned a master's degree in early childhood education and her Professional Church Worker's certificate from Concordia University. She grew up in Portland, Oregon, with her parents and younger brother and sister. She loves reading, visiting her family, watching movies and history documentaries, and going to museums.
Jessica Lever, 1st Grade
Mrs. Lever received her bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Washington. She went on to get her master’s degree in teaching from City University. She has taught first grade, third grade, and a 3rd/4th grade split. She has been teaching at Faith Lutheran since 2010, and was also a parent here for many years. Mrs. Lever loves to bring class subjects “to life.” She brings real-world issues and outdoor adventures into the classroom to bring relevancy and fun to the learning targets. Outside of teaching, she enjoys reading, scuba diving, wakeboarding, snowboarding, running, hiking, and watching Husky and Seahawks football games. She loves to explore God's creation!
Debbie Klumb, 2nd Grade
Mrs. Klumb has been blessed to serve at Faith Lutheran School since 1981. She received her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Concordia Teachers College in Seward, Nebraska, and a master’s degree in early childhood education from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma. Her classroom experience spans preschool through 6th Grade. Married since 1981, she has four children. She views teaching in a Lutheran school not a job, but a ministry. Telling children about the Lord and the salvation He has won for all is her privilege. Mrs. Klumb feels that sharing her faith with her students and their families benefits her as much as them.
Robin McMillen, 3rd/4th Grade
Mrs. McMillen started teaching at Faith Lutheran School in 2015. While at Faith, she has taught 3rd, 4th, 7th, and 8th grade. She received her bachelor's degree from Concordia University Wisconsin with a major in elementary education and a minor in environmental science. When not teaching or worshiping at Faith, Robin enjoys being outdoors, camping, and family time.
Sarah Elliott, 5th-8th Grade Math & Science
Mrs. Elliott joined the Faith Lutheran staff in 2013 and is excited to serve in our 5th and 6th grade classroom. Having taught every grade from 5th through 12th, she knows how to prepare students for the next level while making learning exciting and fun. She is passionate about STEAM education and integrating all subjects to foster critical thinking and a love of learning. Along with her husband, Tim, and son, Noah (who attends FLS), they enjoy being active members of Faith Lutheran Church and spending time in God's great outdoors.
David Milnes, 5th-8th Grade Language Arts & Social Studies
Mr. Milnes received a B.A. in Sociology from Western Washington University and later returned to get his teaching certificate. Over one summer, he taught for the Washington Migrant Council and ran the pre-k program. This opportunity, teaching children of seasonal farm workers and working with their families, was a very gratifying experience for him! In addition to teaching, Mr. Milnes enjoys coaching youth sports. He is married to his high school sweetheart and they have two little boys.
