SERVICE PROJECTS

December 2019
Toy Drive for Mary Bridge Children's Hospital

Our Jr. kindergarten and 7th/8th grade students held a toy drive for children at Mary Bridge Children's Hospital in Tacoma. Students performed chores at home to earn money, and then went shopping as a family to buy toys for children. They then sorted the toys by age and made cards for the kids in the hospital.

Helping the Homeless

Thurston County Food Bank

Our 3rd/4th grade class has been knitting hats and scarves for the homeless all year. They are going to join the kindergarten class in a food drive and both classes, along with parents, will be going to the Thurston County Food Bank to sort the food and learn about the services the Food Bank provides.
